How AE Group Mechanical Engineers Got Its Start

In 1976, founder Phil White opened a consulting engineering company, Alternative Energy and Environmental Engineering, which offered services in the Ventura County area. In 2003, the company changed its name to AE Group Mechanical Engineers, Inc, with the “AE” retaining the important references to both alternative energy and the environment.

The mission has always been to design mechanical systems that are energy efficient and considerate of environmental goals including alternative energy and, more recently, those that address climate change.

For more than 40 years, AE Group has provided professional mechanical engineering services to architects and facility managers in need of services in the following areas: Design of Plumbing Systems, Site Infrastructure, Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems, Solar Energy Systems, and Energy Management / Control Systems for municipal buildings, schools, colleges, industrial and agricultural facilities, and commercial buildings.
